The year of 2012 has begun, and we are back to the beautiful and warm environment of Tao Nan School. Once again, we can meet up with our adorable classmates, amiable teachers and kind principal. Together, we can engage happily in sports and games, and we should also adopt a serious attitude towards our studies and in learning!
During the school holidays, our school underwent renovation and was given a new coat of paint so that you can learn in a more conducive environment when the school re-opens. We hope that everyone will make an effort to take care of the school by keeping it clean and tidy.
In this new school year, we hope that you will strive to achieve our school vision which is to ‘love to learn and learn to love’. When you ‘love to learn’, your passion for learning will naturally fan to flame a desire to pay attention in class, be meticulous in your assignments and stay focussed when you revise what you have learnt.
In addition, we also hope that you ‘learn to love’. You should not only love yourself, but also put in efforts to love your schoolmates, school, parents, surroundings and country. Only then, will you be exemplary in character and excel in your studies to become a good student of the school and a useful citizen of our country.
